XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL AGAIN

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.

This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank you's.

Thanks for taking the time to support our military

Welcome to the Carroll High '59 ~ '60 ~ '61 Combined Web site.

Please be patient with us as we build this site and prepare for our coming 50th Reunion to be held October 29-30, 2010.

Several of our classmates have bonded together to locate and contact each member of our combined classes and prepare for our reunion . . . .

 H E L P ! ! ! !

All of the names from the Senior picture section in the '59 ~ '60 ~ '61 "Anchors" are included in our combined web site. If you see any names that need to be corrected or inserted please go to the "Contact US" section on the top left side of your screen to send your updated information.

NOTE: You are able to update your personal information by selecting your name from the drop down list on the right side of the screen [the 'Where Are They Now' Section] and following the instructions.

We need current emails of everyone that has a personal email address. We also need the mailing addresses for those that DO NOT have an email address.

Please help us confirm and update our information for those that are deceased.

Please share the whereabouts of all you are aware of. We would rather get names and information of our classmates two and three times than miss one. Our plans are to maintain this site till our presence is no longer on this planet so this will be an ongoing effort.

Thanks for visiting ~ come back often and keep smiling.

~

Be sure to visit our USER FORUMS to enjoy the many pictures from several albums that Nancy Rodman Smith '61 has shared with us.

An Urgent and Warm Request to Fellow Classmates and Reunion Committee Members of Barbara Startzell McDonald:

It is with sadness I write each of you with a prayer request for Barbara Startzell McDonald regarding her fight with cancer.  Many of you know she was diagnosed two years ago in May with Lung cancer and underwent surgery for removal of that tumor.  One year later in May, a tumor appeared in her brain and she faced another traumatic surgery for that removal.  What a brave and courageous woman she has been.  In the interim period, and still now, she continues to deal with very painful shingles and they are spreading.  The past ten days her health has declined even further and use of a walker has become necessary since she has great difficulty in getting from point A to point B.  She no longer can drive either.

We all know prayer is very powerful and I would like to request we get a prayer chain going on her behalf.  She is requesting this as well. Nardie, I know in the past, you and yours, as well as a group of fellow classmates, prayed for her on the onset of all this.  She also has appreciated the phone calls and prayers from you since that time.

Ralph, it is with sadness and regrets she wanted to inform you of the inability to attend the River gathering this year in July, as she truly was going to try and make this trip.  The love and generosity of the group to make this happen overwhelmed her.

Randall, she wanted to let you know how determined she was to make it and not miss a year.  We know you and Ann still have alot on your plate which is top priority, but she sends her regrets and concern for Y'all and Ann's Brother.

Barbara and I have been friends since Junior High School spending many hours together, and now here after more than fifty plus years, we are still together, encountering the hurts of life one must face. It helps to know that others care, and GOD is there through it all.

As a group, please let's lift her to GOD in prayer.

Thanking you in advance,

Nancy Greer Pitt Wilcox

Class,

I have known Barbara since junior high school.  We have lost a daughter to cancer and know the heart ache involved for everyone.

I include her in my prayers, that the LORD's will may be done in her life, in this e-mail and will put her on my Bible studies prayer chain as well as the one at our church.

Tell her to know that she is loved and is being cradled in the hands of our LORD and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

If I may be of help in any way, please do not hesitate to let me know.  Driving her, keeping her company, taking over some of her reunion responsibilities, what ever it takes.

 You sister-in-Christ,

Kitty Martin Koeckritz
