I left CC to go to Baylor and never returned there to live. Graduated from Baylor in 1964, married and moved to Houston and ultimately Wharton where my three children were born, Tiffany, 1972 (adopted), Casey, 1975 and Cory, 1977. I divorced, then remarried in 1983, moved to Dallas and started a career in Interior Design. I am still working as a designer and love my work. Right now, I am working on a project in Charleston, S. C. and am traveling a lot. We moved to Tyler and love the ease of living here. My husband and I love to travel and had a wonderful trip in October to Italy. My children live in Houston, the daughter has two children, a boy, Jack, and a girl, Scotland. My son, Cory is unmarried. The biggest heartache of my life is losing my other son, Casey, in a car accident. He is forever missed and longed for. Somehow, we go on.
We were so lucky to have such care free days in high school! It is not the case anymore. Our teachers and parents protected us as much as possible and we were innocent by todays standards. So, I think we were really lucky to grow up when we did! |

I remember the walk out, too! Bad cause, as I think about it, but we were some of the first protesters of the 60's! Cutting edge! I also remember having to stuff all of those starched petticoats under the desktop, so I could sit down! What a hoot! Times were good. |
