50th Year Reunion

Well classmates, it's time to set aside dates for travel (if you gotta travel) to Corpus for the "Young-At-Heart" '59 '60 '61 classes of Mary Carroll High School.  This will be an excellent time to see all of Your Classmates at our combined 50th reunion scheduled for October 29-30, 2010. Let's all pitch in while attempting to reach EVERY CLASSMATE we can.

Here are the most current details for our reunion

The event is to be held at the Holiday Inn Emerald Beach in Corpus Christi. Hotel rooms around the pool may still be available on a first come first serve basis.  The cost for all MCHS rooms is $109.00. To get our rate of $109.00 you must use C-59 as your code.

The hotel address is 1102 S Shoreline Blvd ~ CC TX 78401. The phone number is 361-883-5731.

At our last reunion we had between 150 and 175 people.  With all the positive response we've been getting, We think attendance will exceed 200 (how about 300 or 400).

A professional photographer will take pictures Saturday night. 8 X 10 pictures will be $12 each and 5 X 7 pictures will be $6 each. These prices are subject to change.

 Friday Night Schedule

  • Hospitality Room is available during the day
  • The ballroom will be open from 7 PM till midnight
  • Heavy hors d'oeuvres (includes a carving station)
  • Coffee and tea will be served ~ A cash bar will be available
  • Clothing for Friday is casual

Saturday Night Schedule

  • Hospitality Room is available during the day
  • Cash bar will open at 6 PM
  • Sit down meal will be served at 7 PM
  • Evening program will start at 8:00 PM
  • D J and music will start at 8:30 and continue till Midnight (if you can stay awake). DJ's will take requests and play 50's and 60's music.
  • Clothing for Saturday is Dressy (ties optional)

Sunday Morning Schedule

  • Optional Devotional will be about 9 or 10 AM
  • Check out time is Noon then head home at your convenience

On-Line Pre-registration Per Person (based on 180-200 attending)

  • $45 each if attending ONE day
  • $70 each if attending BOTH days
  • Please register on-line at our site as soon as You are able

 

Registration At The Door Per Person (based on 180-200 attending)

  • $55 each if attending ONE day
  • $75 each if attending BOTH days
     

As we get closer HELP will be needed for:

  • Making name tags
  • Registration assistance at the check in desk
  • Decorations
  • And many more items that will be requested as we get closer
  • Volunteers are needed and appreciated.

Suggestions of items you may do during the weekend:

  • Visiting our campus
  • Visiting the local Aquarium
  • Visiting The Lexington WWII Battleship
  • Prowling through CC
  • Visit old friends and places
  • Whatever else you choose to do
